Q1. What did the hunter want to eat? ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਕੀ ਖਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ?
Ans. The meat of a deer. ਇੱਕ ਹਿਰਨ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ।
Q2. What did the hunter see? ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਦੇਖਿਆ?
Ans. He saw a buck. ਉਸਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਿਰਨ ਦੇਖਿਆ।
Q 3. Why did the hunter not kill the buck? ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਹਿਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਰਿਆ?
Ans. Because he felt pity for buck’s son. ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਨ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਤੇ ਦਿਆ ਆ ਗਈ।
Q 4. What did the hunter do? ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ?
Ans. He gathered some nuts and fed the deer. ਉਸਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਮੇਵੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਏ।
Q 5. How did the buck feel after eating nuts? ਹਿਰਨ ਨੇ ਮੇਵੇ ਖਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ?
Ans. He was not in fear then. ਤਦ ਉਹ ਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

Q1. And if he killed the buck he’d feel like a beast.
Exp.- The hunter thought that if he killed the innocent deer he would feel like a beast.
ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਹਿਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਭੇੜੀਏ ਵਾਂਗ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਾ।

Exp.- Deer was not in fear then. ਤਦ ਹਿਰਨ ਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
