Answer the following questions
Q.1. Who would come and play with the tree? ਦਰਖਤ ਨਾਲ ਕੌਣ ਖੇਡਣ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ?
Ans. A little boy. ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਲੜਕਾ
Q.2. Who was too big to climb and play? ਦਰਖਤ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਈ ਕੌਣ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ?
Ans. The boy, when grew older, was too big to climb and play. ਲੜਕਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਦਰਖਤ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਈ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
Q.3. Why did the boy want a boat? ਲੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਚਾਹੀਂਦੀ ਸੀ?
Ans. Because he wanted to go to another city. ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
Q.4. Why did the boy want to go to another city? ਲੜਕਾ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ?
Ans. He wanted to go to another city for business. ਉਹ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

Ans. She said the boy to sit down on her old stump and rest. ਉਹ ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਬੁੱਢੇ ਟੁੰਡ ਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
