4. Nibbles – ਕੁਤਰਦਾ ਹੈ                        8. Poetess (ਪੋਇਟੈੱਸ)- ਕਵਿਤਰੀ

Read and answer:
I brought (ਲਿਆਈ) home a puppy
He looked (ਦਿਖਿਆ) very happy!

Q.1. What did the poetess bring home? ਕਵਿਤਰੀ ਘਰ ਕੀ ਲਿਆਈ?
Ans. The poetess brought home a puppy. ਕਵਿਤਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਤੂਰਾ ਘਰ ਲਿਆਈ।

Nibbles (ਕੁਤਰਦਾ ਹੈ) like (ਵਾਂਗੂੰ) a mouse
Eats (ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) whatever (ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ) he finds (ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ) in the house.

Q.2. What does the puppy nibble at? ਕਤੂਰਾ ਕੀ ਕੁਤਰਦਾ/ਖਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ?
Ans. He nibbles at whatever he finds in the house. ਉਹ, ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੁਤਰਦਾ/ਖਾਂਦਾ

You ask (ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਂ) him to go
He growls (ਗੁਰਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ) loudly (ਉੱਚੀ) to say NO.

Q.3. Why does the puppy growl? ਕਤੂਰਾ ਗੁਰਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੈ?
Ans. The puppy growls when we ask him to go. ਕਤੂਰਾ ਉਦੋਂ ਗੁਰਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ

He is quick (ਤੇਜ਼) on his feet
When (ਜਦੋਂ) you give him a treat (ਦਾਅਵਤ).

Q.4. When is the puppy quick on his feet? ਕਤੂਰਾ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਦੋਂ ਦੌੜਣ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ?
Ans. When he gets a treat. ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਦਾਅਵਤ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
